About this video

In this video, we continue our 3V0-24.25 certification preparation series and move into the practical configuration of storage policy integration in VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0. A common mistake among Kubernetes administrators is assuming StorageClasses should always be created manually with YAML. In a vSphere Supervisor environment, the architecture is different. Storage capabilities are defined through vCenter Storage Policy-Based Management (SPBM), assigned to namespaces, and automatically synchronized into Kubernetes. In this module, we configure and analyze: Creating Gold and Silver storage tiers with SPBM Assigning storage policies to vSphere Namespaces Configuring storage quotas for tenant consumption Verifying automatic StorageClass creation through Kubernetes APIs Understanding the relationship between SPBM, CSI, CNS, and persistent volumes For the 3V0-24.25 exam, the important skill is recognizing the correct architecture decision. The question is not “How do I write a StorageClass?” but “Where should storage policy control begin?” By understanding the complete policy-to-workload workflow, you can avoid common exam traps and design VCF 9.0 environments with predictable, automated storage operations. In the next module, we will continue the storage lifecycle journey by exploring Kubernetes VolumeSnapshots and data protection workflows. #3V0-2425 #VCF9 #VMwareCertification
